The Circular Solution

01. The Problem

Durrës coast suffers from seaweed accumulation, while Currila Hill faces landslide risks from unstable clay. Traditional insulation relies on imported, toxic synthetics.

02. The Innovation

We combine dried Posidonia oceanica with natural argile clay. The seaweed provides thermal insulation, while the clay offers inherent fire resistance without chemical additives.

03. The Impact

A carbon-negative material that cleans beaches, stabilizes slopes, and reduces building energy consumption. Validated by Mapei and ready for scale.

04. The Team

Led by architect Jetmira Belegu, with technical validation from SARP & LAB and design strategy from Milan. Backed by Startup Albania Grant 2026.
